Credfeld have successfully developed a Fibre Optic interface for the FE2020 Flame Viewing Head. This is currently being trialed on a corner fired South African Coal Fired Power Station. The burner has a tilt mechanism which the Fibre Optic moves within. The initial test have proved positive with the possibility to upgrade all the burners across the boilers.
