Credfeld have recently supplied Low NOx heavy oil burners suitable for Fire Tube boilers and meeting the stringent Swedish emissions requirements for liquid fuel fired plant. The burners are equipped with our special split-flame Osynox atomizers. The flame profile is clearly shown in the above photograph.

2) Utility Boiler, Malta

Osynox Atomizer	Flame Profile

An oil fired power station boiler was fitted with a set of Osynox atomizers to reduce NOx emissions below the European directive of 450 mg/Nm3 from an operating level of around  600 mg/Nm3 without the need to change burner air registers or any other part of the combustion system.

This was achieved without compromising boiler load or particulate emissions which were maintained at or below 50 mg/Nm3.
