Credfeld was a totally owned subsidiary of Credfeld Camtorc Ltd a UK based company and was set up in 1977 to serve Eskom's planned power generation covering new and upgrade of existing plant. During 1995 the UK organisation was taken over by a United States combustion company. During the take over Credfeld (Pty) Limited was purchased by the present owner making it a totally owned South African Company. Credfeld has continued to supply burners and associated equipment to power generation, petro chemical and industrial fields. The current owner and managing director has been operating Credfeld (Pty) Limited since 1982 and has been involved with the technical sales, design, supply and commissioning of their products to both local and overseas markets.
