South Africa

Credfeld recently supplied 16 - LT 300 Ignition Systems to a South African Municipal Power Station. The new system replaced the existing High Tension Igniters. The benefits of the up-grade included eliminating the high voltage connections at the burner front an important safety feature and improved oil burner availability by providing a more stable pilot ignition source.  The system included local flame signal strength indication along with short circuit protection a feature not forming part of the old HT arrangement.

United Kingdom

LT300XL

In 2004 Credfeld developed a new Igniter LT300XL for an Oil fired Power Station in the United Kingdom. The application required a 2 Mega Watt heat input to establish the Oil flame. The new design included and outer gas annulus to give the heat input required. The successful tests led to an order for 32 complete systems.
